The area near to the hotel is ideal for coastal walks or seeing the official marker for the Meridian line which passes though the area. Despite having  an enviable coastal position, within a short 30 minute drive, visitors can find themselves in the rolling hills of the Lincolnshire Wolds with beautiful picturesque villages such as Tealby.

To the south is the interesting bustling market town of Louth with its 17th and 18th century architecture and boutique shops. The town is dominated by the St James church spire, which at 295 feet is the tallest of any medieval parish church in the country.

Only four miles away in Grimsby is The National Fishing Heritage Centre which is a multi-award winning museum and suitable for visitors of all ages. The attraction features a fascinating insight into the ports maritime history, the harsh realities of life for fishermen and in the adjacent dock, visitors can view several historic vessels.

  • The historic Roman city of Lincoln dating back over 2000 years, with its impressive cathedral, castle, museum, quaint cobbled streets and excellent shopping facilities. Distance 38 miles by road or easily accessible by train.

  • Market Rasen racecourse – horse racing fixtures held at various times throughout the year. Distance 24 miles.
  • Donna Nook National Nature Reserve Seal Colony. From October to the end of December each year hundreds of grey seals come ashore to give birth to their pups on the beach. Visitors are able to get remarkably close to view the seals from within a safe distance of a few feet. Distance 19 miles by road.
